By creating an account or using Gospelar (the mobile app and the website at gospelar.com), you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Who we are

Gospelar is the official Sunday School companion app published by The Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT). References to "we", "us", and "our" mean GOFAMINT and its authorised app team.

2. Eligibility

You may use Gospelar if you are old enough to use a mobile app under the law of your country (typically 13+, or younger with parental consent). If you are creating an account on behalf of a child, you confirm that you are their parent or legal guardian.

3. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
• You agree to provide accurate registration information.
• One account per person. We may close duplicate accounts.
• If you sign up as a teacher, you must provide a valid church invite code from your church admin.

4. Subscriptions and payments

Some features (e.g. access to additional age-group categories) require a subscription. Subscription pricing and the categories included in each plan are shown in the app at the time of purchase.

• Payments are processed by Paystack.
• Your subscription gives you access for the period stated at checkout (typically 30 days).
• Subscriptions do not auto-renew. You'll need to renew manually when the period ends.
• Refunds: if you believe a payment was charged in error, email billing@gospelar.com within 7 days of the transaction.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Gospelar to harass, threaten, or impersonate any person.
• Attempt to access another user's account, the admin dashboard, or any non-public part of the system.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or redistribute the lesson content.
• Upload or share content that is unlawful, obscene, or infringes a third party's rights.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules.

6. Content ownership

Sunday School lessons, hymns, and other curriculum content in Gospelar are © GOFAMINT and licensed for personal study and Sunday School class use. You may not republish, sell, or distribute the content outside this purpose without written permission.

Marks, attendance records, and other data you generate as a teacher remain associated with your church and are accessible to your church admin.

7. Disclaimers

Gospelar is provided "as is". While we work to keep the service available and accurate, we cannot guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Lesson content reflects GOFAMINT's teaching position at the time of publication.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GOFAMINT and its app team are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Gospelar. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings or by emailing privacy@gospelar.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of Gospelar after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lagos State.
